Dr. Bahram is a dedicated and compassionate dentist serving the Lincolnton, NC community. A native of the Charlotte area, he began his academic journey at Davidson College, earning his undergraduate degree before completing a master's in physiology at NC State. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Bahram is known for his gentle approach, attention to detail, and commitment to creating a comfortable and positive experience for every patient. He began his dental journey as a volunteer at Agape Dental Ministry in Charlotte, where he continues to serve today, providing care to underserved citizens of Mecklenburg County—a reflection of his deep commitment to giving back.
Outside of the office, Dr. Bahram enjoys spending quality time with his wife, their daughter, and their two beloved dogs. Whether it's relaxing at home, exploring local parks, or attending Charlotte sports games, he values every moment with his family. As an avid supporter of the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte Hornets, he rarely misses a game. Dr. Bahram feels fortunate to live and work in the city he loves and is proud to be part of a community-focused dental practice that puts patient care and compassion at the heart of everything they do.
EDUCATION
Dr. Howell earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland Dental School, which has the distinction of being the first dental school in the world. He continued his education by completing a general practice residency at the King-Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. This hospital-based program gave him a solid foundation in treating patients with complex needs. Dr. Howell has over 20 years of experience and continues to expand his knowledge and skills through continuing education.
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Miami, FL and grew up being both a talented artist and astute student in science and mathematics. I attended college as a chemistry major, where I met a professor who suggested that I pursue dentistry after he caught me sketching during his lecture. He told me that dentistry required a foundation in science and artistry. I then began to mentor and work under a local dentist and discovered my passion for dentistry. I realized that in addition to satisfying my interests in science and artistry, the aspect of providing exceptional care and changing the lives of others through their smiles was most rewarding.
After working in this field in many states across the country, I've become more passionate about building relationships with patients, exemplifying compassionate care and evolving my skills through the use of the latest technologies and advancements in dentistry.
HOBBIES
When I am not caring for patients you will find me at the gym, on a biking trail, at the movies, engulfed in a new art project, or enjoying time with my poodle, Nikko.

My very first job was with NASA.
